Introduction

 

V united KPL = an Introduction 

V-united Kayal Premier Leagueis a concept on the lines of IPL. There would be Twelve teams for Football & Eight Teams  for Cricket competing in the initial stage. It would be inaugurated in May or June 2011. Tournaments would be conducted in The U.S.C. and The K.S.C. The main purpose of this endeavour is to allow players from different areas play together with each other under KPL event.

Format

The Twelve teams for Football in the league divided into two groups would compete against each other facing once and Eight Teams for Cricket would compete against each other facing once.The format would be League Table format with the highest two teams facing one another in the final. A win in a match would be a 3 Points on the Table. If Draw then the both team will get each one points. There would be a total of 7 Matches including the final for each team of Football and 9 Matches including the final for each team of Cricket.25 min each side for football & 10 over each side for cricket & 9 players play in each team both football & cricket

Prizes

The Winner would be Awarded Rs. 15,000.00; The Runner takes home Rs. 10,000.00, the Third & Fourth Runners would be awarded Rs. 3,000 & Rs. 3,000 respectively. The winner would be awarded a Rolling Trophy.

The Teams

Teams could be taken by interested parties around the world. An enrolment fee of Rs. 14,000 is determined.

The Outfits

The Team Jerseys would be modelled in line with IPL concept to promote this league.

Sponsors & each team logo will be printed in the Jerseys

Auction

The Organisers will facilitate an auction where the interested team owners would be in a position to provide a bid for the player willing to play for their team. The highest bidder would get the player. 

Budget & Benefits

An entry fee of Rs. 14,000.00 would be collected. This would be utilized towards the Trophy, Officials’ remuneration, Advertisement and other incidental/miscellaneous expenditures. We would enhance the prize money, if we get advertising sponsors.

If a franchisee owner pays Rs. 14,000.00, the organisers will give back Rs. 4,000.00 to spend on players. and is being provided with 12 sets of outfits (Jerseys) worth Rs. 4,000.00 In fact he practically spends only Rs. 6,000.00. If his team wins, he is paid Rs. 6,000.00 which translates to a profit of Rs. 9,000.00. If his team is the Runner up, he is paid Rs. 6,000.00, which effectively earns Rs. 4,000.00. The team in third & Fourth place they lose only Rs 3,000.00. If his team loses all the matches, his total loss would not be more than Rs.6,000.00.

Practicability

The first and foremost thought that might arise in the minds of the people is, whether anybody would come forward to own clubs? Let us ponder about it:-

  1. It is not difficult to find sports enthusiast from our community who would not mind risking Rs. 6,000.00 for this sort of adventurous start ups.
  2. Our community is well knit socially and widespread geographically, it is very much feasible, if sports admirers from all over the world who hail from our town take initiatives.
  3. It is like thinking locally and spreading globally.

Promoting the Event

We have lot of precedent players of our town dwelling in different countries. There are also many adventurous business people. Sports is definitely a great catalyst in uniting these group of people, if people can join hands, this concept can grow from strength to strength.

Attractive and Popular

Colourful Events with great outfits donned by the participating player would add a dash of spice to the tournament making it very popular among our youths.
